How it works

From your passport to your first day, step by step

You make one profile. We show what fits you and why. You show interest, and our helpdesk calls you and stays with you after you join.

The journey

Seven steps, recorded on your passport

Every step is added to your passport with its date, so you can always see how far you have come.

  1. Step 1

    Make your profile

Five short sections. Each one saves as you go, so you can stop and come back later.

The five sections of your profile

    1. About you

Your name, date of birth and gender. You must be 18 or older.

    2. Where you are

Your state, district and pincode, and how far you can travel.

    3. Education and work

Your studies, the kind of work you do, your skills and your experience.

    4. What you want

Put jobs, skilling, business and farming in your order, and say when you can start.

    5. Your IDs

Only the IDs that fit you. For each, say you have it or you don't.

  2. Step 2

    See matches, with reasons

Jobs, courses, schemes and business support near you. Each one says why it fits you, and what is missing if something is.

ExampleA made-up person, to show how it can go. Not a real story.

    Why this fits

    • It is near your district
    • It needs a skill you have
    • One skill is missing: a short course near you can teach it
  3. Step 3

    Show interest

Tap I'm interested. You choose each time if the organisation may see your name and phone number.

  4. Step 4

    Our helpdesk calls you

A real person replies to every interest. The app says: We will call you soon. They help you with the next step.

  5. Step 5

    Get an offer

When an offer comes, you see who made it, when and where to start, and what to bring. You decide to join or not.

  6. Step 6

    Join

Say you have joined. It goes on your passport, with the date.

  7. Step 7

    Checks after you join

We check in after 30, 60 and 90 days. If something is wrong, you can raise a complaint at any time.

Evidence seals

You can always tell what has been checked

Every skill on your passport carries a seal. Each seal has its own shape, its own mark and its own word, so it reads the same in any colour.

  • Verified

Checked by a trusted partner, such as a training centre.

  • Waiting

A check has been asked for and is on its way.

  • Self-declared

You told us about it. It is never shown as checked.

  • Can earn next

A course near you can give you this skill.

Today, skills you add are self-declared. Checked skills come later, from trusted partners only.
