Terms of use
Terms of use
These are the rules for using Digital Skill Passport, in plain words. By creating a passport, you agree to them.
Draft: this page is waiting for legal review before launch. The final text may change.
Who this agreement is with
This is an agreement between you and the team that runs Digital Skill Passport. How we use your personal data is explained in the privacy policy, which is part of these terms.
No fee, ever
Digital Skill Passport is free for job seekers. No fee is ever charged to job seekers: not to create a passport, not to show interest, not for a call, a job or a course. If anyone asks you for money in our name, do not pay and tell our helpdesk.
Who can create a passport
- You must be 18 or older to create a passport. Anyone can look at listings.
- One passport per mobile number.
- You create your own passport. Do not create one for someone else.
What we do and do not do
- We show listings from official, open and verified partner sources. The job, course or scheme belongs to its owner, not to us.
- We cannot promise you a job, a seat on a course or a scheme benefit. The owner decides.
- When you show interest, our helpdesk replies and may call you, if you allow it.
- Matches are suggestions based on what you tell us. They are not a decision about you.
Your part
- Tell the truth in your passport. A skill you add yourself is shown as told by you, not as verified.
- Add only your own details and documents.
- Do not misuse the service: no fake listings, no harassing others, no attempts to break or copy the service.
- Keep your phone and the sign-in code safe. Never share the code with anyone, including people who say they are from us.
Your data is yours
What you put in your passport stays yours. We use it only for the purposes you agree to. You can see it, download it, correct it, take back a consent or delete your passport at any time.
Ending your use
You can delete your passport at any time in Me, Privacy and consent. We may pause or close a passport that breaks these terms or puts others at risk. We will tell you why, and you can complain to our Grievance Officer.
Limits of our responsibility
We check our sources, but a listing can still be wrong or change. Always confirm the details with the owner before you travel or sign anything. We are not responsible for what an employer, training partner or scheme owner does, but we will help you complain.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters to you, we will tell you in the app before the change applies.
Law and complaints
These terms follow the laws of India. If you have a problem, please first talk to our helpdesk or write to our Grievance Officer. Most problems can be solved that way.
